8. 20歳の私
日本では、毎年1月の第2月曜日は「成人の日」で祝日です。最近日本の法律が変わって、「成人」になる年齢が、20歳から18歳に引き下げられました。
18歳でも20歳でも、まだ仕事をしていない学生が多いと思います。だから本当の意味で「大人」とは言えないかもしれません。みなさんは、何歳のとき、「自分はもう大人だなあ」と思いましたか。
さて、写真は、私の成人式の写真です。私は、成人の日、レンタルの着物を着て、美容院できれいにお化粧をしてもらって、髪もセットしてもらって、成人式に参加しました。
成人式は市役所が準備した特別なセレモニーで、確か政治家が来てスピーチをしていたと思います。でも、政治家の話の内容は覚えていません。ただ友達と会ってたくさん写真を撮りました。
私は20歳のとき、まだ将来なにをしたいのかもよくわからず、アルバイトばかりしている大学生でした。みなさんは20歳とき、何をしていましたか。どんな夢を持っていましたか。

In Japan, the second Monday of every January is "Coming of Age Day" and is a national holiday.
Recently, Japanese law has been changed and the age to become an "adult" has been lowered from 20 to 18.
I believe that many students, whether 18 or 20 years old, are not yet working. So they may not be considered "adults" in the true sense of the word.At what age did you think to yourself, "I am an adult now.
This picture is from my coming-of-age ceremony. On my coming-of-age day, I wore a rental kimono, had my hair set and makeup done at a hair salon, and attended my coming-of-age ceremony.
The coming-of-age ceremony was a special ceremony prepared by the city council, and I think a politician came and gave a speech. But I don't remember what the politician said. I just met my friends and took a lot of pictures.
When I was 20 years old, I was still a college student working part-time, not really knowing what I wanted to do in the future. What were you doing when you were 20 years old? What dreams did you have?
